The sixth edition of “Illustre-Stage,” a combination French and English play, will hit the Gallery Theater on Rio Grande Campus June 24 and 25. This year’s play is titled “Literary Follies” and is written and directed by Veronique Mazet, French professor at Austin Community College.
The play is a “mash up” of French myths and stories, says professor Mazet. It is also a combination of the French and English language, of current and former students, French Club members and other French speakers and enthusiasts.
