Dr. Kinslow to say “Bye Bye” on August 31.

The college is planning a memorable send off for someone who has not only been a great leader but a good friend to many.   Dr. Stephen B. Kinslow will be the guest of honor at the event scheduled for Wednesday, August 31 at the Eastview Campus.  Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to stop by and bid farewell to Dr. Kinslow on his last official day as the college’s president.

The afternoon’s festivities will start with a reception and silent auction.  Silent auction items will include campus sponsored flamingos and various personal items from Dr. Kinslow’s own office.  Proceeds from the auction will go to the Kinslow Endowed Scholarship.   Special guests and surprise speakers are intertwined into an exciting program. Refreshments and guest services will be provided by ACC’s Continuing Education Community Programs and the Hospitality Management Department.

We encourage faculty and staff to carpool to the event.  Parking may be found in the Faculty & Staff lot near Lot D (see EVC physical site map).

Doors will open at 2 p.m. with event souvenirs provided to the first 100 guests.

3 – 4 p.m              Program and Speakers
4:15 p.m.             Silent Auction Ends
5 p.m                    End of Event

Silent Auction Details:  Cash and credit cards will be accepted onsite.  Checks should be made payable to the ACC Foundation.
