Help for Employees Impacted by Fires

Please inquire of your staff if there are employees impacted by the recent fires in Central Texas and let me know.

While the college does not have a program to address these types of emergencies, we certainly want to be sensitive to their needs. The employee associations have emergency funds for which an employee can apply. Employees can be given administrative leave to address any related issues. In critical emergencies, we can consider a salary advance.

If there are specific needs (clothing, household goods, etc.), we can notify the employee associations and request their assistance.

If HR can assist in any way, please ask the employee to contact us directly.
