With holiday purchases causing people to reach for the plastic in their wallets, identity theft becomes an unfortunate threat.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend a workshop “Identity Theft – Everything You Need to Know to Protect Yourself,” on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Highland Business Center. Imad Mouchayleh, ACC director of internal audit, will discuss how and why identify theft happens, and how consumers can prevent becoming one of the 9 million victims of identity theft each year.
