ACC’s Department of Dental Hygiene is now accepting patients. Student clinicians perform preventive services including cleanings and X-rays, while a dentist performs examinations. Cost varies based on the type of cleaning needed and ranges from $45 to $99; some patients may qualify for free care.
Services are offered at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd.), Building 8000, Room 8162. For more information and to schedule a free one-hour screening, call (512) 223.5710.

We are 64 year old granparents who are raising two grandchildren. We have never received any monetary support. We had the kids for about 10 years. Our grandson is in college. Our granddaughter is a senior in high school. She has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. During the past 14 years my husband has retired twice. Shortly after his first retirement he had a heart attack. Once he recovered we ended up inheriting our grandchildren. He worked another 6 years. Once he retired we lost our dental coverage. The VA recently changed his medical status to 90% disabled. He was a Viet Nam vet. But,because he’s not a 100% disabled the government won’t cover his dental. We sure would consider it a privledge to become your new patients.

Just completed my last appointment, after having 6 last fall. My gums had greatly improved and my student hygienist and her professor were very pleased. Please take advantage of all their up-to-date knowledge, and USE any of the supplies they send home with you! It really makes a difference, and the students (and patient) are very happy when they can see progress!
