ACC President Dr. Richard Rhodes has wrapped up his final “Conversations with the President.” Between February and May, receptions at each campus and administration location gave faculty, staff, and students a chance to ask Dr. Rhodes questions or just say hello.
At one of the first “Conversations,” Dr. Rhodes met with about 60 students, faculty, and staff at ACC’s newest campus in Round Rock. He gave a brief description of his path to becoming a community college president, and took questions from the group, ranging from the concept of student success to the need for a food vendor on-campus. Dr. Rhodes,
I have class the afternoon you will be at my campus. I intend to make arrangements to get out a few minutes early in hopes of meeting you, just to say “hello”. If all community colleges could be as fortunate to have people of your caliber on board, the educational world would be a far better place.
Sincerely, Regina Parker

Hi, Dr. Rhodes,
I hope to meet with you when you are at South campus on 5/3. I am a longtime resident of Austin, a Mom, and a graduate of ACC with an AAS. I have an outstanding issue to discuss with you about instructors of continuing ed in the PC Tech program at HBC. I am sorry to say it negatively affected my view of and previous trust in that department. Welcome to Austin’s Community College.
