Applying for Financial Aid is Free, Beware of Scam Mail

ACC has received reports of students receiving scam emails and print letters offering financial aid application services at a cost.

The college does not endorse or work with any scholarship or financial aid search services that charge a fee of any kind. If such a service that imposes fees says ACC endorses or works with it, please report it to a campus financial aid office immediately. For more information on scholarship and financial aid scams, visit the Federal Trade Commission’s website.

The 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) provided by the U.S. Department of Education is now available. The ACC 2012-2013 financial aid priority deadline is April 1, 2012.

Learn more about getting help paying for your education by visiting ACC’s Financial Aid webpage. If you have questions, contact your campus financial aid office or call (512) 223-4AID (4243).
