Summer Registration Begins April 9 for Current and Former Students

Austin Community College District summer registration is under way for current and former students. The summer session begins Tuesday, May 29.

Students can view the summer schedule on the ACC website and register online according to their registration eligibility date. ACC has a registration helpline to provide additional assistance; students can call (512) 223.4636.

“By starting the registration process early, you have a better chance of getting the classes you want,” says Dr. Kathleen Christensen, vice president of student support and success systems. “Whether you want to earn transferable credit, start a new career, or learn a new skill, summer is a great time to get started at ACC.”

In-district tuition is $57 per credit hour, making ACC the most affordable institution of higher education in the area. The college offers payment plans that allow students to spread the cost of tuition and fees over the term. Students may view tuition payment deadlines online.

ACC has an open-door admissions policy, meaning everyone who meets the eligibility criteria is encouraged to enroll. Registration for new students begins May 7.

As of spring 2012, incoming Texas college students under age 30 must submit proof of immunization for bacterial meningitis or an official exemption before they can register for classes. ACC is offering on-campus meningitis vaccination clinics in April. More information is available at austincc.edu/apply/immunizations.
