The Austin Community College District Jazz Ensemble is teaming up with a Grammy-winning artist for a special performance to benefit Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas. The group raises funds to support Dell Children’s Medical Center.

The benefit show is set for Thursday, May 3, from 8 to 10 p.m. at The Gypsy Lounge, 1504 E. 6^th St. Singer/guitarist Redd Volkaert, who won a Grammy in 2009 for Best Country Instrumental Performance, will accompany the group.

Children’s Medical Center Foundation works with families, individuals, and organizations to support Dell Children’s mission of serving children in the 46-county region of Central Texas.
