The ACC Jazz Ensemble will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special performance at Bass Concert Hall Saturday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m.

Over the past three decades, the Jazz Ensemble has presented classic American jazz and pop music to audiences throughout Austin and across the state and nation -Â at concerts, receptions, charity events, dances, and even presidential inaugurations.

For the anniversary concert, the Jazz Ensemble will be accompanied by jazz drum legend Charli Persip and Grammy-winning guitarist Redd Volkaert. The music – a mix of big band jazz, country, blues, and pop music – is specially arranged by Dr. Tom Husak, the director of the Jazz Ensemble.

Tickets for the anniversary concert are available online through Texas Performing Arts. Student tickets are $10; general admission tickets are $20. Bass Concert Hall is located at 2300 Robert Dedman Dr.
