The college expresses condolences to the family of Adult Education instructor Cheryl Mirza, who passed away June 28.

Funeral services took place July 3 at the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church in Marlin.

Mirza began teaching GED classes for Adult Education in 2001 as an hourly instructor. She became a full-time instructor in 2005. Before coming to ACC, Mirza had a long career in public education and always had a great passion for adult learners. She will be greatly missed by students, staff, and faculty.
