ACC Faculty Art Show Set for Sept. 13 – Oct. 6

ACC’s Art Department will host its annual faculty art exhibit from Sept. 13 to Oct. 6 at the Pump Project Gallery in East Austin (702 Shady Ln.). A reception for the exhibit will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery.

The exhibit features the work of more than 50 faculty members who work in ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

The Pump Project Art Complex is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. You may also make an appointment to see the exhibit by visiting pumpproject.org.

In addition to showcasing faculty work in the exhibit, the Art Department and Arts and Humanities Division have published a catalog of faculty work. The book was designed by Janet Brooks, an associate professor of art.

The catalog will be available for purchase at the faculty art exhibit, and proceeds will support Art Department scholarships.
