More than 2,000 ACC students currently have registration holds because they have not yet completed TOP (The Orientation Program).

TOP is mandatory for new college students. Current, fall semester students who have not completed TOP will be unable to register for spring classes until the requirement is fulfilled.

“TOP is an important first step for new college students,” says Cheryl Richard, director of Student Life. “We want to make sure they have the knowledge needed to be successful before they register for next semester.”

Students may complete TOP on campus or online. TOP sessions last three hours and explain what you need to know to get started at ACC.

Online registration is encouraged; walk-ins are welcome with an ACC student ID. Â Dates and locations for the remaining October on-campus sessions are:

• Saturday, Oct. 20, 2-5 p.m., Northridge Campus (11928 Stonehollow Dr.)
• Wednesday, Oct. 24, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd.)
• Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2-5 p.m., Eastview Campus

Information on November sessions will be announced soon. Students are encouraged to complete TOP as soon as possible.
