Five students will represent ACC in the Texas Two-Year College All-State Choir, which will perform at the San Antonio Convention Center in February as part of the Texas Music Educators Association’s annual convention.

The students – Cesar Calderon Jr., Kristina Davis, Lucinda Gonzales, Bradley Taylor, and DyEiesha Williams – earned their spots in the choir by auditioning at a regional competition in November.

“The students had to learn and perform very difficult music to earn a spot in the choir,” says Virginia Volpe, associate professor of music. “I am very proud of our students and am honored to have them represent ACC.”
