Students, faculty, staff, and the community are invited to a panel discussion on the joys and challenges of being an entrepreneur. “Exploring Entrepreneurship,” hosted by ACC Career Services and the City of Austin Small Business Development Program, is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd., Building 8000, Room 8500).
Panelists will include the owners of Texas Cycle Werks, Lingo Language Services, and Sarah Ruh Design. Each will share lessons learned in opening and operating a business.
“This is a great opportunity for ACC students to learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur,” says Amber Kelley, dean of student services at Cypress Creek Campus.
The event is free and open to the public; registration is not required for ACC-affiliated participants. For more information, contact Joy Miller with the City of Austin at 974.7781 or [email protected].

Sorry we missed this opportunity. Our group at ACC, Adult Education Work Group Committee is very interested in forming an entrepreneur class or classes for our ESL students, especially those who may have had a business in their country of origin, and possibly expanding to our GED classes. Please include me in your mailing list. Thank you.
