Explore teaching techniques and philosophies used by learning experts nationwide at the QEP Teaching Innovations Symposium: Study Skills for Success on Thursday and Friday, April 11-12, at the Rio Grande Campus.

This symposium, part of ACC’s quality enhancement plan, features national consultants specializing in:

• Study skills

• Student engagement and motivation

• Developmental education

The symposium’s keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Nolting, a nationally recognized consultant on study skills, faculty training, tutor/learning assistance training, and improving classroom success.

The QEP speaker series will be an annual event. This year’s symposium is brought to ACC by Cengage Learning, Faculty Development, and the QEP Leadership Team. Future topics include collaborative learning and assessment.
