Prep for Health Science Programs with New Biology Course

Note: Just a few spots remain! Register now.

Kick start your career in the health professions with the newly redesigned Biology Fundamentals (BIOL 1308) course.

BIOL 1308 prepares students to pass the anatomy assessment test and succeed in health sciences courses at ACC. Students must pass the assessment before enrolling in Human Anatomy.

The new BIOL 1308 allows you to:

  • Work at a more individualized pace
  • Solve case studies and complete hands-on activities with fellow students
  • Learn in a supportive environment that includes tutoring

The new BIOL 1308 will be offered this fall at Eastview Campus in the new Biology Innovation Lab; enroll in one of the sections with the note about the course redesign. To register, visit austincc.edu/register.

These new sections are part of ACC’s Health Professions Academy, a program available to students preparing to study health sciences at ACC. The program is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor Credentials-to-Career grant. For more information, contact Alice Sessions at [email protected].
