Classes begin at the Elgin Campus on August 26.

The ACC community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of ACC’s Elgin Campus on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

“This new campus is an exciting opportunity, not only for the people of Elgin, but for the entire ACC community,” says ACC President/CEO Dr. Richard Rhodes. “We invite everyone to come out and see what the campus has to offer.”

The Elgin Campus offers classes for university transfer and career training, and is home to ACC’s new Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship Program. ACC also plans to launch a veterinary technician program in spring 2014, pending accrediting agency approval.

Those interested in riding a shuttle to the event from the Highland parking lot should contact Dahlia Anzaldua-Torres, (512) 223.7595, by noon, Monday, Aug. 26. Parking also will be available at the campus.
