Call for Study Abroad Program Proposals

Are you interested in providing students with a transformative learning experience through study abroad? International Programs is accepting proposals from full-time and adjunct faculty members who would like to develop and lead an ACC Study Abroad program for the 2015-2017 cycle.

Proposed programs should be sustainable for the three-year period to create continuity of content and logistics, and to give students a longer timeframe to participate. As with ACC credit courses, Study Abroad faculty are responsible for the academic content of the program, which must meet all required contact hours and learning objectives of the course(s).

Proposals must be submitted by March 7, 2014. Proposals in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines and workforce education are particularly welcome.

For program requirements and proposal processes, view the Faculty Handbook for Design and Development of Study Abroad Programs (pdf). Access the program proposal form (pdf) here.
