The Career and Resource Fair runs 3-6 p.m. and is part of the college’s communitywide 40th anniversary celebration, ACC: It’s a Family Affair, at ACC Highland (Highland Mall, 6001 Airport Blvd.).

The event will include special sessions by expert panelists for both job seekers and employers, with topics including:

  • One-on-one resume feedback
  • Entrepreneur panel
  • Personal branding
  • Growing and managing a small business
  • Leveraging social media skills
  • Networking “boot camp”
  • How to find your professional calling

“ACC has been connecting people to careers for four decades, and our anniversary event is a great opportunity to bring together students, job seekers, and local employers and career organizations,” says Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC president/CEO. “We invite the entire community to come out and explore all of the resources that are available. Bring your resume and bring your family.”

Following the Career and Resource Fair, ACC will hold its 40th birthday party and alumni networking. For more information and the complete schedule, visit austincc.edu/40years.
