The Austin Community College Jazz Ensemble is teaming with Grammy-winning guitarist Redd Volkaert and vocalist Stacy Seals for a concert to benefit a surgical mission team from Dell Children’s Medical Center. The show is set for Thursday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., at Patsy’s Cafe (5001 E. Ben White Blvd.).

The Jazz Ensemble performs nationwide.

“We are always happy to assist the team at Dell Children’s,” says Dr. Tom Husak, Jazz Ensemble director. “This will be a great show for an equally great cause.”

There is no cover charge, but donations will go to a chapter of Dell Children’s Circle of Friends – grassroots, volunteer-led, community-based chapters that raise funds and awareness for Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas. This chapter has chosen to focus attention on international mission work by members of the Dell Children’s staff.
