Texas Tribune Festival Offers Political Program, Free Student Admission

The Texas Tribune Festival, Sept. 27-29 at UT-Austin, is bigger and better in 2013, and ACC students can apply to attend free.

More than 150 speakers, 45 interactive events, and plenty of networking opportunities make this three-day event a great opportunity for students passionate about issues that affect all Texans.

The first 75 students to email [email protected] with “STUDENT CONNECTION” in the subject will receive a free pass ($225 value) to attend the weekend of events.

Speakers include political figures Wendy Davis, Ted Cruz, and Greg Abbott. The festival breaks into program tracks about energy, healthcare, education, and more.

Students can enjoy a Friday night orientation at the Cactus Cafe, a meet-and-greet lounge with festival speakers and business leaders, and a Sunday tour of KUT.
