ACC Employees Contribute Almost $68,000 to Charitable Campaign

The ACC community contributed $67,967.53 to this year’s State Employee Charitable Campaign.

The October campaign collected donations for several local and national charities, including the Capital Area Food Bank, the American Red Cross of Central Texas, March of Dimes, and Habitat for Humanity. A total of $15,510.43 was donated to the ACC Foundation for student scholarships.

“Our employees once again have opened their hearts in response to the needs of others,” says Geraldine Tucker, ACC vice president of human resources. “Enhancing the communities we serve is part of ACC’s mission and is a priority of our employees. Our employees’ response in this campaign affirms that commitment.”

Highland Business Center raised the most funds at $11,986.54. The Rio Grande Campus was second with $9,793.65. Riverside Campus employees raised $8,727.91 and Eastview Campus employees raised $7,512.24.
