The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has contracted with Aon Hewitt to perform a dependent eligibility audit for all dependents added to employees’ coverage since 2011. The audit is scheduled for April; the exact date has not been provided by ERS.
Employees should gather documentation for any dependents added since 2011. Birth certificates and marriage licenses are common examples of documentation.
