Thinking about college? Austin Community College invites you to learn more about your options and complete enrollment steps at Destination: ACC @ Highland.
The event takes place Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at ACC Highland, 6001 Airport Blvd. See event page.
Representatives from ACC programs and partner organizations will be in attendance.
The enrollment fair is being held in conjunction with fall registration and the opening of the new Highland Campus in August.
Register now to attend
We’ll have plenty of ACC people to answer your questions and help you get started on college.
Highland Campus will be one of ACC’s largest locations, with capacity to serve 6,000 students. It will be open seven days a week and offer night and weekend classes.
“We built a team of faculty and staff who are eager to welcome and assist students coming to our campus when we open this fall,” says Dorado Kinney, Highland Campus dean of student services. “We will be at the June 14 fair to talk with visitors and promote our campus.”
Prospective students and their families will have an opportunity to discuss admission requirements, financial aid, degree and certificate programs, university transfer, and career/technical training paths available at ACC.
There also will be computer stations and hands-on assistance for visitors wanting to fill out an admissions application or complete other online steps.
“We’ll have plenty of ACC people to answer your questions and help you get started on college,” Kinney says.
Register for the event and get additional details at Destination: ACC @ Highland. The website includes a list of documents you need to bring if you plan to enroll.

This is what Austin needed to have a larger capacity junior college like ACC. Thank you for whoever thought of this plan and got it done. Hopefully with plenty of parking available.
Best Wishes, Sara Turner

I am inquiring to find out if the chair, head or representative for your Business and Technical Communications Department will be on site for questions. This is the field I’m interested in. Would love to have access to someone on a Saturday so I can bend their ear!
Very Best,
Marnie McLeod
