Austin, TX – November 2, 2007 – Planning a wedding, holiday party or even a shower, but have no idea where to start? No problem.
Austin Community College’s Community Programs and the Monarch Event Center are hosting a special events expo Thursday, November 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Monarch Event Center, 6406 North IH-35, Suite 3100, east of Highland Mall in Lincoln Village.
“This event will provide Austin with an avenue to do it yourself or to hire the best of the best,” said Sharrion Jenkins, ACC Community Programs director. “Whether you are in charge of planning a wedding, corporate outing, meeting, family reunion, or you just want to throw the party of the year, we will have the classes or the people to help you pull it off.”
Admission is free. The event will highlight ACC classes and services for event and wedding planning, photography, floral design, and more. There will also be preferred vendors for catering, travel, jewelry, and other services.
