Highland Campus: First class day updates & information

ACC Highland Campus

We are pleased to welcome the ACC Highland Campus faculty, staff, and students to the first day of fall classes Monday. It’s especially important to allow extra time to get to campus and find your classroom this week.

The following tips will help you navigate the first week of classes:

Driving & parking

If you’re driving to campus, use the Highland Mall Boulevard entrances only. The Airport Boulevard entrance at Denson is blocked at this time as parking lot construction continues. See map & directions to E. Highland Mall Blvd. Entrance at Jonathan Drive.

Until designated parking signs are installed, you may park in any available spot. NOTE: Vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed if illegally parked in accessible spots or loading zones.

Capital Metro bus and rail are convenient options, providing direct access to the campus. Until the campus is added to the Capital Metro trip planner, use “Highland Mall station” or “Highland Station.”

Find your class time & location

Print your class schedule in Online Services, and note your class time and location before you arrive on campus. See instructions.

When looking for a location, be aware that room numbers beginning with “1” are found on the first floor. Locations that begin with “2” are found on the second floor.

If you do not have access to a printer, drop by the ACCelerator (Room 1100) or the Library (Room 1325).

Information stations are located on the first and second floors to offer assistance and directions, also.

Grand opening day

Grand opening festivities will be 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, with approximately 1,000 visitors and dignitaries. We invite you to join the festivities!

The official event will be confined mostly outside the West Entrance; however, guests will be touring the facilities after the program.

We apologize for any disruption that occurs during the event and especially invite you to extend a warm welcome to our guests. We are rightly proud of our new campus and eager to show it off!

Thank you for being part of the ACC Highland Campus community. We look forward to a wonderful semester.
