Austin Community College parking permits are available for new students beginning class in spring semester. The cost is $15.
Students must first order their permit, including green car tags and carpool tags, online before proceeding to the Cashier Office.
Go to the Obtain a Parking Permit webpage and follow the instructions for ordering a tag or sticker. Have the following information:
- ACCeID for login
- License plate number
- Vehicle year, make & model
Payments can be made online by e-check, debit, or credit card. Cash payments can be made at a campus Cashier Office. Once you have paid, pick up the tag at your designated Cashier Office.
Returning students who purchased a permit in fall semester do not need to obtain a new pass.
Disabled veterans:Â Those with a vehicle registered with the State of Texas and displaying a disabled veteran specialty license plate can use the online system to obtain a parking permit fee waiver.
Green Car permits: Students may obtain a Green Car permit for access to preferred parking on campuses. Green Car permits are available for free for vehicles on the green car list (pdf). They must be acquired in an addition to a general parking permit.
Alternative transportation also is available to students.
Capital Metro: A Green Pass allows unlimited rides on Capital Metro bus and rail services for one semester. It is available for $25 to ACC credit and Adult Basic Education students, faculty, and full-time staff.
Electric Vehicles: Charging stations for plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) are available at all ACC campuses (except Cypress Creek and Highland) and at the Service Center. Read more about electric vehicle charging.
Carpool: Students may register to carpool with at least one other person and park in exclusive, convenient spaces on campus before 10 a.m. Find details and information about services that match carpoolers on the ACC Carpool webpage.
