ACC faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Community March & Festival Monday, January 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event, sponsored by the Austin Area Heritage Council, begins with a short program at the MLK statue on the University of Texas at Austin (East Mall Circle) at 9 a.m.

After the program, marchers will proceed to Huston-Tillotson University for the daylong MLK Festival featuring music and activities.

Participants are asked to bring canned goods or nonperishable items for donation to the Capital Area Food Bank. Donation receptacles will be available at UT and Huston-Tillotson University.
