Grab your friends and head to Riverside Golf Course Sunday, March 1, to have fun and raise money for student scholarships at the inaugural ACC Fairway 5K Cross Country Run & Walk.
“ACC’s first Fairway 5K promises to be a healthy and fun way to raise funds that can have a life-changing impact on our students and potential students,” says Guadalupe Mendoza, counselor at ACC’s Hays Campus and race director.
Event fees will directly benefit student scholarships, with the ACC Foundation matching a portion of the proceeds.
The Fairway 5K is the second leg of RunAustin’s 5K Spring Series, three uniquely Austin runs beginning with the Paramount Break-a-Leg 5K on February 15 and concluding with the St. James Missions 5K & 1K Run and Walk on March 28. Runners who participate in all three events receive a commemorative shirt for completing the series.
- When: Sunday, March 1. The event begins at 7:30 a.m.; day-of-event registration is 6-6:30 a.m.
