HR Connection: Benefits information, staff development workshops, and more

The following is provided by the Human Resources Department.

Annual benefits enrollment is July 10 – 24

This year’s annual benefits enrollment period is July 10 – July 24. Changes made during annual enrollment are effective September 1 for plan year 2016.

The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) administers benefits for the college. Employees can access benefit information and change their plan enrollment by going to the ERS website.

ACC will host its annual enrollment fair and presentation on Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at Highland Business Center Room 201. Employees will have an opportunity to talk with vendors and ask questions about various benefit plans.

Employees unable to attend can view an annual enrollment WebEx presentation online beginning at 9:15 a.m. on July 24. View the webcast on ACC’s live steaming website.

ERS will host other presentations throughout the Austin area. See a listing on the ERS Summer Enrollment Event Schedule webpage.

Detailed annual enrollment information is available on the Human Resources Benefits webpage. Also, don’t forget to check out the new online employee benefits statement that displays ERS and ACC insurance benefits in a single statement. Find it through Online Services.
