ACC prepares to launch Student Planning application

Austin Community College’s aging WebAdvisor registration system moves one step closer to retirement when Information Technology launches the new Student Planning application in March. The application will go live over spring break and be available for students preparing for summer registration.

Plans call for both the WebAdvisor and Student Planning systems to be available during summer registration, with full implementation of Student Planning in time for fall registration.

Students will use Student Planning and other Ellucian Colleague Self-Service tools to create course schedules, register for classes, manage financial aid, view grades, track degree progress, and receive notifications.

A new version of the Degree Map planning software also will be available for new student advising and for degree planning instruction provided in student success courses.
