Austin Community College hosts Texas Independence Diversity Day on Wednesday, March 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Eastview Campus, Building 8000, Room 8500 (3401 Webberville Rd.).

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to enjoy music, traditional food, and learn more about the roles many played in the struggle for Texas Independence.

The multicultural celebration, hosted by the ACC Center for Public Policy and Political Studies and Student Government Association, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

Students may be eligible for extra credit and should check with their professors.
