Austin Community College will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for new Elgin Campus facilities Tuesday, October 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the campus grounds (1501 W. U.S. Hwy. 290, Elgin).

The Elgin Campus phase II construction is one of several districtwide capital improvement projects approved by voters through a 2014 bond election. The new specialized facilities will support the college’s Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship and Veterinary Technology programs.
