ACC hosts annual transfer fair

The Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts its annual Transfer Fair to help students prepare for their next steps from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 29, at Highland Campus (6101 Airport Blvd.).

More than 40 percent of ACC students start at ACC with the intent to transfer to a four-year college or university. The TACRAO Transfer Fair provides those students an opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 50 universities nationwide.

“ACC is well-known for providing a solid educational foundation, and this makes our students highly recruited by our university partners,” says Dr. MaryJane McReynolds, director of ACC’s Articulation and Transfer Resources Office. “The annual Transfer Fair is a fun and easy way for students to learn about the many opportunities available to them.”

In addition to learning the ins-and-outs of transfer preparation, students can obtain valuable information about scholarship opportunities and career planning.
