Students will discuss current issues including voting and civic involvement.

“We invite students to explore their knowledge and beliefs about the U.S. Constitution,” says Peck Young, director of ACC’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS). “Students discover there are many shades of gray. They will work together to develop a deep understanding about our nation’s current political issues.”

The event attracts approximately 400 students each year. Hosted by CPPPS, ACC’s Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and the Student Government Association, the debate is free and open to all students. Refreshments are provided.
