Friends and members of the ACC community raised more than $30,000 for the college’s Student Emergency Fund at the annual Golf Scramble tournament October 14 at Riverside Golf Course.
A record number of golfers and teams teed up in support of the fund, which helps students facing an emergency continue their education at ACC.

More than $230,000 has been raised for the fund since the first Golf Scramble in 2006. A total of 217 students have received assistance, including 26 in the last year. A majority of the students receiving support earned a certificate or degree or are still enrolled.
