ACC’s basketball all-stars battle Australia in 6th annual tournament game

ACC’s intramural basketball all-stars will face off against Australia’s Mornington Breakers 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at the Gus Garcia Recreation Center (1201 E. Rundberg Lane).

The sixth annual exhibition basketball game is free and open to the public.

“This game puts a spotlight on our players and their talents,” says Tracy Partin, ACC intramural sports & recreation coordinator. “It’s a true honor to be selected to play. These players exhibit high character, leadership, sportsmanship, and advanced skills.

Sponsored by ACC Student Life, the college’s intramural sports take place in fall and spring, with registration opening the first week of each semester.

More than 80 students are involved in the intramurals league. Sports include basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, coed softball, and flag football.
