New Surgical Technology application guidelines for fall 2017

Austin Community College’s Surgical Technology Program has opened fall 2017 admissions to include students completing prerequisite courses this summer.

Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply now and will be accepted to the program on the condition they successfully complete (grade “C” or better) BIOL 2402, BIOL 2420, and HPRS 2300 by the end of the summer semester. They must already have completed BIOL 2401, any college-level math course except MATH 1333, and HPRS 1106.

The conditional admission applies to the fall 2017 semester only. Applicants are encouraged to contact the department to discuss individual situations.

In addition to completing prerequisites, applicants must upload necessary documents to an online Castle Branch account. Required documents include proof of immunizations and the verification page indicating completion of a mandatory online information session for surgical technology students.
