ACC faculty, staff, and students are invited to share thoughts about the Latinx education experience at a forum 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 20, at Eastview Campus.
Following opening remarks by ACC President/CEO Dr. Richard Rhodes, a student panel will discuss Latino/Latina “fuerza” (strengths) and explore strategies for building upon those strengths. Participants will be able to engage with panelists and connect with other community and higher education partners working on behalf of the rapidly growing Latino student population.
The free event is co-hosted by the ACC chapter of Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education, ACC’s Office of Community Engagement and Public Affairs, and the ACC IDEAL Center.
A light breakfast will be served. Register at www.austincc.edu/TACHE.
