ACC hosts annual transfer fair

The Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts its annual Transfer Fair to help students expand on and discover transfer opportunities as they prepare for an advanced degree from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 28, at Highland Campus (6101 Highland Campus Dr.).

More than 40 percent of ACC students start at ACC with the intent to transfer to a four-year college or university. The Transfer Fair, as a part of Central Texas TACRAO Week, provides students an opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 50 universities nationwide.

“ACC’s annual Transfer Fair is a great opportunity for students to learn about four-year colleges and universities,” says Renee Esparza, ACC director of Transfer Resources. “Speaking directly with university representatives and researching potential transfer destinations can help students make smart decisions, which will save time and money as they work toward their educational goals. It’s never too early to start planning. ”
