Austin Community College’s Nursing Program is a finalist in the 2018 Austin American-Statesman Best of the Best Awards for nursing schools.
Voting is now open and lasts through August 10. Follow these steps to vote for ACC’s Nursing Program.
- Visit the Best of the Best Awards website.
- Choose the “Kids & Education” category.
- Select Nursing Program.
- Find ACC.
- Click the green “Vote” button in the ACC box.
- Enter your email address.
- Complete the brief registration form.
- Click submit.
After voting you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link that allows you to easily log in each day to vote again.
Winners will be recognized in a special print and online section once voting has completed.
ACC’s Nursing Program provides a path into nursing as either a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). The college also launches its first bachelor’s degree program this fall for registered nurses wanting a bachelor’s degree. The full-time, 12-month RN-to-BSN bridge program begins fall 2018. A part-time, 18 -month option begins fall 2019.
ACC is the No. 1 source of registered nurses in Central Texas. Pass rates for students taking national licensure exams average over 95 percent and consistently exceed state and national averages.
