“We want to bring awareness and build moral support for those affected by breast cancer,” says Lynn Dixon, ACC District Police Chief. “Several of our officers know first-hand the impact breast cancer can have on a family, so it really touched home.”
District Police personnel have been authorized to wear a pink elastic band across their badge as part of their uniform as a show of support to those lives affected by breast cancer.
Monetary donations to the Breast Cancer Resource Center can also may be made directly on their website.
