Registration is now open for anyone looking to get ahead this summer at Austin Community College (ACC). The summer semester begins Tuesday, June 1, with 5-, 9-, and 10-week class options.
Teams are ready to work with students 1-on-1 to help them apply and register.
Summer at ACC
ACC offers all students free access to the college’s full suite of student support services and student life activities. The college also will continue to provide reserved access to on-campus computer and study spaces at key campus locations
There are four ways to learn this summer at ACC, including:
- Flexible online,
- Scheduled online,
- Hybrid, and
- In-person class options.
Fully online options can either be completed anytime and anywhere or you on a set schedule with live, remote classes where students can interact with other students and the instructor.
In-person options remain limited at this time. As health and safety measures allow, ACC will scale up its in-person and hybrid options. Hybrid classes offer a blend of both online and in-person components such as labs.
Paying for college
Registered students are eligible for additional financial assistance through ACC. Students impacted by COVID-19 are encouraged to apply for the new federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act. The dollars can cover eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance such as tuition and fees, food, housing, course materials, technology, healthcare, and child care.
ACC also provides immediate financial assistance to students who experience unexpected financial emergencies during the semester through the Student Emergency Fund.
