The Austin Community College District (ACC) will close for winter break beginning 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, until 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 3.
Spring registration will remain open through the break. Students may view the spring course schedule and register for classes online. ACC offers several ways to learn in spring:
- Flexible Online | These are asynchronous classes that are held online. The option allows students to log in and complete their coursework at flexible dates/times during the week. All classes are completed fully online.
- Scheduled Online | These classes also are held remotely but they meet at set times during the week. All work is completed remotely.
- Hybrid | Classes include both online and in-person components. Lectures are held primarily online and hands-on learning — such as labs — is held on campus.
- HyFlex | These in-person courses allow students the most flexibility. Students may join class in-person or virtually during any given class period. These options are especially helpful to students juggling work, family, and school.
- In-Person | Classes meet in-person and on-campus.
The spring semester begins Tuesday, January 17.
