Get ready now to land an internship or career with Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Career Ready Week from Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 21. Hosted by the Career Services team, students can attend one or multiple events for specialized training and information sessions to reach their goals.
Industry experts and regional employers will be on all ACC campuses to help students prepare for career success. Events include job fairs, resume writing workshops, interview preparation tips, and more.

Live Resume Review | Tuesday, April 18 | 5 to 7 p.m. | Virtual
Strategies for Today’s Jobs trainers host a virtual resume review discussion with breakout sessions and expert coaching to improve your resume. Participants also will learn more about JobScan, a tool that optimizes your resume for any job.
Employment Launch Lab | Wednesday, April 19 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Round Rock Campus, ACCelerator Lab
Get hands-on coaching and access to technology to launch a job search, learn how to write a resume, master interview skills, complete a job search profile, and network with reps from Dell Technologies.
Elevate Your Pitch | Thursday, April 20 | 2 to 3 p.m. | Virtual
Learn new techniques for an elevator pitch –– a brief way of introducing yourself, getting across a key point or two, and connecting with someone. Participants will learn the formula for introducing themselves at a job fair, in an interview, on their resume/cover letters, and social profiles.
Animation Career Workshop | Friday, April 21 | 1 to 3 p.m. | Highland Campus, Building 1000
The Asian American and Pacific Islanders Student Circle hosts a workshop with Animation Director Patrick Stannard of Powerhouse Animation Studios to give a presentation and answer questions from students.
