In January, ACC Chancellor, Dr. Richard M. Rhodes, announced he would retire on August 31, 2023, after 12 years of service to the college and the Central Texas community.

The college continues to work to limit any potential disruption in the transition of power between Dr. Rhodes and the incoming new ACC Chancellor.

A new chancellor will be appointed by the Board of Trustees.
