The dogs and cats cared for by ACC Veterinary Technology program students this summer are ready for adoption. 

The animals have undergone socialization and basic training, get microchipped, and receive medical care, including vaccinations and heartworm prevention.

ACC partners with the Bastrop County Animal Shelter to get the animals that students care for over the course of the semester. Any pet not adopted by the end of the semester is placed with a foster family through another ACC partner, Austin Pets Alive!
