Get a head start to join the next cohort for the Manufacturing Bachelor’s Degree

Central Texas has a robust and diverse manufacturing industry, with thousands of high-paying positions going unfilled. Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts an open house for those looking to take the next step in their career and join the fall 2024 cohort for the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (BMET).

Parking: Free parking is available at the ACC Highland South Parking Garage (see map)

The program offers both full- and part-time cohorts that include hybrid and online course options and an internship component for all students. 

Students in the program develop skills in:

  • professional practice, 
  • scholarly inquiry, 
  • organizational leadership, 
  • management principles, 
  • engineering principles, 
  • and the technical skills to identify and resolve production problems in the manufacturing of products.
