Austin Community College District (ACC) Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart hosts his first Student Town Hall to stay connected with students across the district. The virtual conversation allows students to know what is happening across the district and have an opportunity to share comments, questions, and ideas or concerns.

The student voice will be responsible for changing the future of the college. Dr. Lowery-Hart will empower ACC students to write the values for ACC.

“Our students will write the values for the college. The college will be accountable for these values. I want the students to tell us what the perfect college feels like for them,” says Dr. Lowery-Hart.

To draft these values, Dr. Lowery-Hart will use multiple methods, including virtual town halls, focus groups, and employing student secret shoppers across the district to give the college an unfiltered understanding of how ACC students receive the college.
